Attributes are the collection of statistics which measure a character's ability in different areas related to combat and crafting. Attribute Skill Chart shows how the stats Strength, Dexterity, Focus and Power affect craft and adventure skills.

Physical[]

These Attributes are used in Melee combat and physically demanding craft schools.

Strength[]

A measure of how strong a character is, an indication of how much force they can exert towards a desired goal. Increases damage with physical attacks (i.e. Swords, Bows); it is 50% more effective than attack skills in this respect.

Dexterity[]

A measure of a character's agility, a combination of balance, coordination, & reflexes. Increases a character's Chance to Hit with physical attacks, and decreases the chance to be hit by physical attacks; it is 1/3rd as effective as the Weapon & Evasion skills.

Evasion[]

A measure of a character's ability to evade physical attacks. Reduces enemies Chance to Hit the character with physical attacks, and is increased by the Evasion skill.

Armor[]

A measure of the protection a character's equipment provides. Reduces physical damage.

Magic[]

These Attributes are used in Spell combat and mentally demanding craft schools.

Power[]

A measure of a character's magical potency, similar to Strength. Increases damage with Magical attacks (i.e. Flame Bolt); it is 50% more effective than casting skill in this respect.

Focus[]

A measure of a character's mental quickness and coordination. Increases a character's Chance to Hit with magical attacks, and decreases the chance to be hit by magical attacks; it is only 1/3rd as effective as the Spell & Magic Evasion skills. Focus also increases friendly Healing spell amounts by 1/2 as much as the spell's Casting skill (usually Life).

Magic Evasion[]

A measure of a character's ability to evade non-physical attacks. Reduces enemies Chance to Hit the character with non-physical attacks, and is increased by the Magic Evasion skill.

Ethereal Armor[]

A measure of the protection a character's equipment provides against Ethereal attacks. Reduces Ethereal damage.

Miscellaneous[]

Health[]

A measure of how much damage a character can take before being killed. If a character reaches 0 health, they are considered dead, and must be resurrected or Recall to the shrine they have most recently bound to.

Speed[]

A measure of a character's ability to walk or run from one point to another. A higher value decreases the time required to travel a set distance (i.e. the character runs faster).

Flight Speed[]

A measure of a dragon's ability to fly. Similar to speed, but only applies to flight.

Wards and Resistances[]

Wards[]

Wards provide addtional Evasion/Magic Evasion against the specified damage type.

Resistances[]

Resistances provide additional Armor/Damage Reduction against the specified damage type.
