Consigners are the shop-keepers of Istaria. Consigners will buy and sell goods for players, as opposed to Pawn Brokers who will generally only buy goods (though you can purchase some items off Pawn Brokers). Consigners charge a "stocking fee" to hold an item for sale. The Empire provides Consigners in most towns and cities, and players can build their own Consigner shops. Consigners are referred to as "connies" by players in-game.

The Empire Consigners in New Trismus, Aughundell and Bristugo remain open and ready to do business...all other non-player Empire Consigners have closed their shops.
