The biped equivalent to Dragon Gemworking is the Gem Cutter.
The Dragon Gemworking ability comes in 6 tiers. A new tier is earned every 20 levels. It is unconfirmed whether the tier of ability or the skill determines whether you can craft resources of a tier higher than your ability.

Dragon Gemworking is most commonly used to craft cut gems from their uncut forms. To do so requires the use of a Gem Cutting Bench and the Cut Gem formula. Dragon Gemworking can also be used to cut or cleanse blighted gems using the Blighted Cut Gem and Blighted Cut Gem Cleansing formulas, respectively, with the aid of a Gem Cutting Bench.
Dragon Gemworking is also used to make Tri-Cut Gem s at a Gem Cutting Bench.
Dragon Gemworking uses the Gemworking skill to determine crafting efficiency.
